About the Author

marnieweb2Dr. Marnie Kramer-Kile is a nursing faculty member at the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, British Columbia in the Collaborative BSN Program with the University of Victoria. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 (University of Alberta), a Master’s degree in Adult Education (University of Alberta-2006) and a PhD in Nursing (University of Toronto-2013). Her clinical focus is in adult health, critical care and chronic disease management. Marnie has taught in undergraduate nursing programs since 2001 in all years (1-4). Marnie has a strong understanding of undergraduate nursing curricula and the potential challenges the NCLEX-RN® may pose to new graduates.

An experienced undergraduate nurse educator and national speaker on RN registration exam preparation, Marnie has expertise in creating practical study approaches using exam competency frameworks and test plans as a guide. She has extensive experience in preparing nursing graduates to write the NCLEX-RN® and specializes in repeat writer support, advocacy and remediation.
